El taller dirigido por el director y dramaturgo Davide Iodice será el último acontecimiento de esta sección del proyecto. En la primavera de 2015, el Teatro Stabile di Napoli dará la bienvenida a actores suecos con la colaboración del Folkteatern de Gotemburgo.
Davide Iodice was born in Naples in 1968. In 1991 he graduated in direction at the 'National Academy of Dramatic Arts "Silvio d'Amico" in Rome with the Master Andrea Camilleri. He has worked with some of the leading exponents of the Italian theater, such as Leo de Berardinis, Carmelo Bene, Carlo Cecchi, Roberto De Simone.
In France he worked with dancers from companies of Pina Bausch, Mark Morris, Magui Marin and in England with Yorkshire Dance in Leeds.
His work of creation and production of shows, the experiences of direction of projects, companies, theaters, educational and training commitments in various parts of Italy, from the late eighties to the present, have always been characterized by intense anthropological research, looking for a live connection between the art and his sense of 'social', through the direct involvement of those living communities, fragile, hidden and yet 'culturally' resistant in their own identity.
He was the director of the theater company Liberamente and co-director of the Teatro Nuovo in Naples, Teatro Stabile of Innovation.
He currently runs a primary school of the theater at the former Asilo Filangieri in Naples.
Many of his plays have received important awards and honors, and were hosted in many Italian theaters and abroad.
For the Teatro Stabile di Napoli staged " Mettersi nei panni degli altri-Vestire gli ignudi” and “La fabbrica dei sogni " two projects realized through the stories and dreams of the guests at the dorm in the city of Naples.
" Un giorno tutto questo sarà tuo, a show that traces important events in the history of Italy told through the memory of actors and their parents.
"A 'sciaveca" by Mimmo Borrelli and " Zingari " by Raffaele Viviani are an exploration in the neapolitan dramaturgy in Neapolitan language ancient and contemporary.
